To maintain the technical condition of the flats, you are not allowed to make changes to the technical installation and structural layout of your flat.

Customise room
Want to customise your room to your own taste? You can, if you follow some ground rules:

Painting / drilling / nailing
You may paint the walls in your room between skirting board and ceiling in any colour you like. It is important to use good latex paint (not smudge-proof paint). When you leave, you must finish the walls in the colour RAL 9010. Or the next tenant must accept the coloured walls. Painting ceilings, windows, window frames, doors and skirting boards etc. is not allowed.

There are no picture frames in your room. You are allowed to drill into the walls yourself. However, bear in mind that there are pipes here. Be careful! Do not stick posters/stickers to the wall with tape or posterbuddies/ sticky pads.

Are there no picture frames present?
Then get in touch. In consultation with your caretaker, you can still get them.

Flooring
The apartment does not come with any carpeting or rugs. Are you installing any carpeting? Then remember to remove it when you leave. No glue residue and/or adhered foam residue may remain on the floor. You can also hand these over to the next tenant. Prevent noise pollution! Lay a sound-insulating underlay under your floor covering.
