To maintain the technical condition of the rooms, you are not allowed to make any changes to the technical installation and architectural layout of your room.

Customise room
Want to customise your room to your own taste? You can, if you follow some rules:

Painting / drilling / nailing
You are allowed to paint the walls. You are not allowed to paint the doors, window frames or ceilings.

To prevent damage to the walls and the pipes located therein, drilling/nailing in them is prohibited. For hanging wall decorations and lamps, wooden slats  have been installed on the walls. Do not stick posters/stickers to the wall with tape or posterbuddies/ sticky pads. Are there no picture frames present? If so, please get in touch.

Flooring
There are no carpets in the room. If you lay floor covering, be aware that you will have to remove it when you leave the room. Make sure there is no glue residue and/or stuck (foam) residue left on the concrete floor.

The installation pipes are partly in the floors. Nailing and screwing in floors is therefore prohibited. Therefore, do not lay your floor covering with nailed laths and fit sills in doorways. If present, also take floor hatches into account. The crawl space under your room should remain accessible. It is forbidden to lay parquet or other hard flooring in the rented property.

Curtains
There are no curtain rails present. You may assemble these yourself or take over from the previous occupant.
