Residual waste
To dispose of general waste, you can use an ordinary grey rubbish bag. You dispose of this in the residual waste container at your complex. You open it with your room key.

Other waste
There are also (above-ground) containers for plastic, waste paper and glass. You can also open these containers with your room key. Plastic waste should be put in the special orange Dar bags. These can be bought at the supermarket.

Make sure you make scrap paper small. That way, the container won't get clogged and fellow residents can also dispose of their waste paper.

Organic waste
Want to separate organic waste? That is possible. Ask for a green bucket from Dar. For the collection of organice waste see the DAR's waste calendar.

Always get rid of your bulky waste!
Between the two bicycle sheds you will find a centrally closed collection point for all bulky waste (recognisable by the blue door). Bulky waste is waste that does not fit in the waste container, such as old sofas and refrigerators, or electrical appliances. You open the loft with your room key. You can dispose of your bulky waste 24/7. This prevents bulky waste from ending up in corridors, entrances or near the containers. Safety first!

The site clearly indicates where you can place bulky waste and where you can place electrical appliances and metals. Please make sure you separate your bulky waste properly.

Are you getting rid of your laminate flooring?
If that is the case, make sure you bundle all the pieces together. This will make it a lot easier for us to remove them. Thank you!

Do not throw rubbish next to containers
The municipality regularly checks whether waste is dumped next to the containers. If they can trace the culprit, a fine will follow. Do not place waste next to the container when it is full, but find another one.
