Painting
The walls have fibreglass wallpaper on them and they have already been painted. So you don't need to paint yourself. Do you still want to paint or wallpaper? Then make sure you return the walls to their former state when you give notice.

Floors
There is a PVC floor with a light wood look. We advise you not to lay a floor yourself. This is because you pay for the floor already there through the service costs. And when you leave, the same floor has to be there again. You can lay a new floor over it, but you mustn't fix it to the sub-floor and there's a risk of damaging the floor.

Drilling/nailing in the wall
The walls consist of plasterboard. You are therefore not allowed to nail or drill into the wall. We have installed picture frames/ceiling skirting boards so residents can hang something.

Curtains
There are curtain boards in your home, so you can hang curtains or other window blinds yourself.
