Operation
The cooker hood in your flat is a recirculation hood. It filters grease and cooking odours from the air and blows the clean air back into the kitchen. The hood has three different settings and a light button.

Tip: Clean the filter regularly. You can easily unclip it and take it out. Just clean it with soapy water. When it is thoroughly dry, replace it.

Bathroom ventilation
Your bathroom has an extraction system. Always ventilate the bathroom properly. Before and during use, set the mechanical ventilation to the highest setting. Have you used the bathroom (after showering)? Then always leave the ventilation on the highest setting for 10 minutes to 15 minutes. The moisture will then evaporate and you will prevent mould from forming in the bathroom.

Is ventilation not working properly? Then the fire damper might be closed.
