To maintain the condition of the rooms, you are not allowed to make any changes to the technical installation and architectural layout of your room.

Customise room
Want to customise your room to your own taste? You can, if you follow some rules:

Painting / drilling / nailing
You may paint the walls/ceilings in your room in any colour you want. We do advise you to use good latex. Make sure not to damage the glass fleece wallpaper. The walls/ceilings of your room should white again when you cancel the agreement, unless the new occupant accepts your coloured walls. The window frames and/or skylights should not be painted.

There are many pipes in the walls and ceilings. To prevent damage, you should not drill or nail into these. Also do not nail or drill into windows, window frames and panelling.

Along the ceiling picture frames are installed. You can use these to hang wall decorations, paintings, posters, etc.

Flooring
There is no carpeting in the apartment as standard. If you lay floor covering, remember that it must be removed again when you leave. No glue residues and/or adhered foam residues should be left on the floor. Never nail or drill into the concrete floor, because the floor contains (water) pipes! Avoid noise pollution. Lay a sound-insulating underlay under your floor covering.

Curtains
All rooms have 1 curtain rail as standard. You may not remove these. You may not screw or drill into the window frames.

Dishwasher
Want a dishwasher in your kitchen? Check the options and costs with your caretaker through info@sshn.nl. Installing the connection will require an operation that you can only have done by SSH&.
