To maintain the technical condition of the flats, you are not allowed to make changes to the technical installation and structural layout of your flat.

Customise room
Want to customise your flat to your own taste? You can, if you follow some rules:

Painting / drilling / nailing
You may paint the walls in the kitchen, living room and bedroom between skirting board and ceiling in any colour you like. It is important to use good latex paint and to not to damage the glass fibre wallpaper. When you leave, the walls should be finished in RAL 9010. Or the next tenant must accept the coloured walls. Painting ceilings, windows, window frames, doors and skirting boards etc. is not allowed.

To prevent damage to the walls and the pipes located therein, drilling in them is prohibited. Picture frames are provided for hanging wall decorations and lamps.

There are many pipes in the walls, ceilings and floors. To prevent damage, you should not drill or nail into these. Also do not nail or drill into window frames and panelling.

Flooring
There are no carpets in the apartment as standard. Do you lay carpet? Then remember to remove it when you leave. No glue residue and/or adhesive foam residue may remain on the floor. You may also hand these over to the next occupant. Prevent noise pollution! Lay a sound-insulating underlay under your floor covering.

Curtain rails
There are no curtains in your apartment, but there are curtain rails. You are not allowed to remove these. You may not screw or drill into the window frames.

Dishwasher connection
Want to connect a dishwasher in your kitchen? You can! Connection requires an operation that may only be carried out by a firm approved by the SSH&. Fixed price agreements have also been made with this firm. The costs are at your expense. You will not receive any compensation when you leave. Do you want to connect a dishwasher? Technical installations
Always report faults in technical installations (power supply, heating, water supply, etc.) to us immediately. This can be done via a repair request or by phone in case of emergency. Do not tinker with the installations yourself.
