Rent benefit
Are you renting a room/apartment in this complex? Then you may be eligible for rent benefit*. The right to rent benefit depends on a number of conditions. For example, the amount of your calculated rent, your income and your assets determine whether you are entitled to rent benefit.

*There is an exception for some rooms with shared facilities.

What amounts do you need to apply for rent benefit?

• Basic rent (deduct any temporary discount from the basic rent)

Service charges:

• Energy fee for common areas ('Electricity general' in your contract)
• Cleaning fee
• Caretaker fee

There is a maximum of € 12,- for each service fee type, you can fill out. For example, if cleaning fee is € 13,58, you can claim a maximum of € 12,- for that fee, when applying for rent benefit. Other costs do not apply.
