To maintain the technical condition of the flats, you are not allowed to make changes to the technical installation and structural layout of your flat.

Customise room
Want to customise your room to your own taste? You can, if you follow some ground rules:

Painting / drilling / nailing
You may paint the walls in the kitchen, living room and bedroom between the baseboard and the ceiling in any colour you like. It is important to use good latex paint (no smudge-proof paint) and not to damage the surface. When you leave, the walls should be returned to a uniformly opaque white colour. Or the next tenant must accept the coloured walls. Painting ceilings, windows, window frames, doors and skirting boards etc. is not allowed.

Do not nail or drill into windows, window frames and panelling. If you want to hang something on the walls, realise that you will have to return the walls to a clean finish when you leave. Holes should be smeared. Be careful not to drill or nail into pipework.

Tip: Attach a thin batten along the ceiling to which you attach wall decorations, picture frames, posters, etc. This will prevent a lot of work when leaving. Do not stick posters/stickers to the wall with tape or posterbuddies/ sticky pads.

Flooring
The apartment does not come with any carpeting or rugs. Do you lay floor covering? Then remember to remove it when you leave. No glue and/or adhesive foam residue may remain on the floor. You can also transfer the floor to the next resident. Avoid noise pollution! Lay a sound-insulating underlay under your floor covering.

Curtain rails
There are curtain rails in every home. You must not remove these. You must not screw or drill into the window frames.

Dishwasher connection
Unfortunately, there is no room in the house for a dishwasher connection.

Technical installations
Always report urgent malfunctions of the technical installations (power supply, heating, water supply, etc.) to us immediately. Don't start repairing the installations yourself.
