To maintain the technical condition of the flats, you are not allowed to make changes to the technical installation and structural layout of your flat.

Customise room
Want to customise your room to your own taste? You can, if you follow some ground rules:

Painting / varnishing / painting
You may paint the walls/ceilings in your room in any colour you like. It is important to use good latex paint (not smudge-proof). Make sure not to damage the glass fleece wallpaper. When you leave, you have to paint the walls/ceilings of your room white if the new occupant does not accept the walls you have painted. You may not paint the window frames, skirting boards and doors.

Paintings and wall decorations
For hanging wall decorations and lamps, picture frames have been installed. These are wooden slats against the wall. Do not stick posters/stickers to the wall with tape or posterbuddies/ sticky pads. Are there no picture frames present? If so, please get in touch.

Flooring
The room has PVC flooring. You are not allowed to remove this floor. Would you like to do so anyway, in order to lay your own floor? Please contact us. Would you like to lay another floor covering over it? Yes, you can. If you lay floor covering over it, remember that you will have to remove it when you leave if the new occupant does not take it over. No glue residue and/or adhesive foam residue should be left on the floor.

You may also not drill or nail into the floor because there are (water) pipes in the concrete! Avoid noise pollution and lay a sound-absorbing underlay under your floor covering.

Curtain rails
All rooms have curtain rails. You must not remove these. You may not screw or drill into the window frames.

Dishwasher connection
There is a possibility of installing a dishwasher in the kitchen. Want to install one? If so, please contact us. Your manager will discuss with you what needs to be done.
