To maintain the technical condition of the flats, you are not allowed to make changes to the technical installation and structural layout of your flat.

Customise room
Want to customise your room to your own taste? You can, if you follow some rules:

Painting / drilling / nailing
You may not paint the walls/ceilings, window frames, skirting boards and doors in your room in. SSH& will take care of painting.

There are many pipes in the walls and ceilings. To prevent damage, you should not drill or nail into these. Also do not nail or drill into windows, window frames and panelling.

Picture frames
Along the ceiling on the walls, slats are installed. You can use these to hang wall decorations, paintings, posters, etc. You may nail in these.

Flooring
The room is carpeted as standard. Would you like to put and other floor covering over it? If so, this is allowed. If you lay floor covering over it, remember that you will have to remove it when you leave if the new occupant does not take it over. No glue residue and/or adhesive foam residue should be left on the floor. Avoid noise pollution and lay a sound-absorbing underlay under your floor covering.

Curtain rails
All rooms have curtain rails. You must not remove these. You may not screw or drill into the window frames.

Windows
Most of the glass in the façade frames and windows is made of special insulating glazing. Group insurance has been taken out for glass damage. The cost of this is included in the service charge. Cleaning the glass (inside) is something you have to do yourself.

Technical installations
Always report faults in the technical installations (power supply, heating, water supply, etc.) immediately to your caretaker. Do not tinker with the installations yourself.
