Residual waste
For residual waste, use special green or red rubbish bags. You can buy these in the supermarket. Residual waste should not be placed in other rubbish bags. Take your bin bags to the street on the day they are collected by Dar.

Plastic
Plastic waste can be offered at the street on the day they are collected by the Dar. Plastic waste may only be offered in a special orange bag. You can buy these bags at a Nijmegen supermarket.

Bulky waste
Bulky waste is household waste that is too large or heavy to fit in a bin bag. Bulky waste includes broken furniture, beds, refrigerators, TVs and carpets.

Do you have bulky waste you want collected? Send us an email at info@sshn.nl. We will then schedule the appointment with the Dar. This can be done on Thursdays.

Is your laminate flooring going in the junkyard?
Then make sure you bundle all the boards well, otherwise the Dar will not take it.
