Operation
The kitchen has a recirculation hood. This means that the hood does not blow the air outside, but cleans it via filters and brings it back into the room. The air initially passes through metal filters that you have to clean yourself. How often this needs to be done depends on how often and how you cook. The more often you use fats, the faster they get dirty.

 

Tip: Clean the filter regularly. This can easily be done in soapy water.
