Residual waste
To dispose of residual waste, use an ordinary grey rubbish bag. You deposit this in the underground containers. You open them with your waste card. You pay the costs for residual waste directly to the municipality. You receive a statement for this once a year.

Other waste
Above ground, there are containers (in the waste container area) for plastic, waste paper and organic waste. Plastic waste must be disposed of in a special orange bag. You buy these at your local Nijmegen supermarktet. This outdoor area can be accessed with your room key. Make sure the door is locked.

Bulky waste
Do you have bulky waste? You may also put this in the enclosed waste container area at the spot marked by us.
Through the service charge, you pay for containers and bulky waste collection.

Is your laminate flooring going in the junkyard?
Then make sure you bundle all the boards well. This makes it a lot easier for us to dispose of!

Do not place waste next to the containers
The municipality regularly checks for rubbish next to the containers. Can they trace the offender? Then a fine will follow. So do not place waste next to the container if it is full, but find another one.
