Customise room
Want to customise your flat to your own taste? You can, if you follow some rules:

Painting
The walls have fibreglass wallpaper on them and they have already been painted. So you don't need to paint yourself. Do you still want to paint or wallpaper? Then make sure you return the walls to a light neutral colour when you cancel your agreement. 

Painting of doors, window frames, ceilings, mouldings, curtain boards and skirting boards is not allowed.

Floors
There is no flooring in the apartment as standard. You lay this yourself. Lay a decent underlay to prevent noise pollution. Remember that you will have to remove the floor covering when you leave. Do not stick or nail it down. You can also transfer it to the next resident.

Drilling/nailing in the wall
To prevent damage to the walls and pipes located therein, do not drill into them to hang heavy items. Use light hanging devices for decorations.

Curtains
There are curtain rails in your home, so you can hang curtains or other window blinds yourself.

Shower
To preserve the walls in the showers, it is important to clean them regularly. Also consider the shower drains, the grate is easy to take out and the bucket easy to clean.

It is not allowed to install a dishwasher and/or washing machine.

Technical installations
Always report faults in the technical installations (power supply, heating, water supply, etc.) immediately to SSH&. Do not tinker with the installations yourself.
