There are various containers for separating waste, such as wastepaper, general waste and plastic behind a fenced in area next to the complex. You open these containers with your room key. For general waste, you may deposit any bag in the waste container. Plastic waste must be disposed of in the special orange Dar bags. These bags can be purchased in Nijmegen's supermarkets.

Please set out your garbage bags on time to avoid vermin and foul smells. Do not deposit full bags in the kitchens and/or corridors.

Organic waste
Would you like to separate your organic waste? That's possible. Ask for a green pail from SSH& via info@sshn.nl.

Dar waste calendar
You can use the waste calendar to find out when Dar collects your waste.

Always possible to dispose of your bulky waste!
You can use the centrally locked collection point next to your complex for all your bulky waste. Bulky waste is waste that does not fit in the waste container, such as old sofas and fridges, or electrical appliances. You can open this room with your room key. You can dispose of your bulky waste 24/7. This prevents bulky waste from being deposited in corridors, entrances or near the containers. Safety first!

The site clearly indicates where you can place bulky waste and where you can place electrical appliances and metals.

Are you getting rid of your laminate flooring?
If so, please make sure you bundle up all the pieces. This makes it a lot easier for us to dispose of them. Thanks!

GFT waste
Would you like to separate Vegetable, Fruit and Garden Waste (VGF)? There are GFT containers on the site where you can dispose of your organic waste.

Always get rid of your bulky waste!
Outside your complex (near the caretaker's office) you will find an enclosed collection area for all bulky waste. You share this area with the residents of the Welgelegen complex.

Bulky waste is waste that does not fit in the bin, such as old sofas and fridges, or electrical appliances, for example. You open this area with your room key. This way, you can dispose of your bulky waste 24/7 and we prevent bulky waste from being placed in corridors, entrances or near the containers. Safety first!

The collection point indicates where you can put bulky waste and where you can put electrical appliances and metals. Make sure you separate your bulky waste properly.

Is your laminate flooring going in the junkyard?
In that case, make sure you bundle all the boards equally well. This makes it a lot easier for us to dispose of!
